Hello there, Stue here. It was with enormous sadness that I learned this morning about the death of Jeremy Hardy at the age of just 57.

And I wanted to just repeat this episode from a fantastic live interview that we did at Soho Theatre.

He was so warm and so friendly beforehand.

I really had that kind of meeting your

heroes thing backstage and he immediately put me at my ease and was just such a

warm and friendly man and I think there is as a listener pointed out there's a bit in this

episode where I refer to Jeremy as the opposite of a bastard and I think that's absolutely

true. I don't really know what else to say. I've stripped all

the stings and blurbs and everything out of this so it's just the whole of the interview

and it strikes me as this is this is a maybe a fitting way to say

goodbye to Jeremy for those of us that only got to know him very very briefly and to thank him for everything really for all of his wonderful comedy and

for his passion and for just being the opposite of a bastard.
