Hello again, I'm Armin Alney. The death of George Herbert Walker Bush, 41st President of the United States, is being officially mourned this week in Washington.

The ceremonies have already demonstrated how much has changed since he served in the White House from 1989 to 1993.

We'll hear some of his best-known domestic promises and how they backfired within his own party.

We'll learn how he handled the end of the Cold War and the reunification of Germany.

But first, a look at the United Kingdom at a

critical moment in its modern history. All this week will be hearing the sounds of political passion

as the British Parliament debates the options for Brexit, as leaving the European Union has come to be

called. One of those is the deal negotiated by

Prime Minister Theresa May, and President Trump doesn't like it at all. Ed Luce is U.S. national

What exactly does President Trump have at stake here, and why is he

opposed to the option offered by his counterpart? Well, Jueza May has negotiated this deal with

Europe, which essentially keeps Britain within the single European, within its customs union,

and therefore means Britain cannot separately negotiate trade deals, which was one

of the key promises of the Brexit campaign.

And of course, top of the list of those promises was a US-UK free trade agreement.

And so Trump doesn't like the fact that what may is putting to the British Parliament,

the divorce agreement with Europe, would not enable Britain to negotiate that agreement.
