You know, we should start with Jesse Jackson. I should say I was asked this morning on a video call whether I was dressed for the invasion of Iran.

No, it's Olympics still for another week.

Yeah.

We're going all patriotic.

We got gold medal matches and hockey coming up, I think, as we record this.

So all in on the Olympics, a few more days of that.

But Joe, got to get into the probably

saddest news of the week. Obviously, Jesse Jackson passed away. And I know, I know as a long-time

Democratic operative in pretty much every presidential in the last 40 years, he's had a pretty

big impact. So I wanted you to talk about that. Yeah, I mean, he was always great to me, and I just loved watching him on the trail.

You run into the other candidates quite a bit, and you actually get to be, get quite close to

them.

And, you know, he always called me Trippy any minute with affection. You know, hey,

Trippy, what's going on? You know, that kind of thing on the trail, particularly in 84 and 88,

because he ran for president both those cycles. And it had a huge impact on both of them. I think he got like 18% of the vote in
