Twenty years ago today, the world was a very different place.

The twin towns of the World Trade Center still dominated the Manhattan skyline.

Hardly anyone had heard of Al-Qaeda, much less Osama bin Laden, and the combined

forces of the United States and Britain hadn't yet ventured into Afghanistan.

Tomorrow is the 20th anniversary of that day of horror known as 9-11, and even now it produces

incredibly strong reactions for all the people that remember the day, for all those who lost loved ones,

for everyone who witnessed the world changing

before their very eyes.

This morning we will be remembering that day

in a variety of ways.

The Independence Kim Sen Gupta joins us in the studio

just a week after returning from Afghanistan

and witnessing the scenes at Kabul Airport

as we endeavored to airlift as many people

as we could out of the hands of the ghastly Taliban.

Lindsay Fyfield will be here from her base in Washington, D.C., with a recollection of that day,

and the latest from the Biden White House, where Joe Biden, the President of the United States,

is now telling people that he wants to mandate vaccines. That's right. He wants you to take

a vaccine whether you like it or not.
