Let's talk dispassionately as much as we can

About something that is affecting a lot of American households and

community. And that is the fight to keep American jobs in America.

So the other day it was released, the jobs numbers were predicted to be a gain of 180,000 jobs and instead it was 199,000.

And the press dutifully reported oh better than expected jobs numbers now part of that

is an expectations game what you want to do when you go up to bat if you're the president is say, yeah, we're probably

gonna strike out.

And then if you walk or get on base somehow, it's a huge win.

George W Bush was not always by design, the master of low expectations. The media was convinced he was

an idiot and many people still are. If you think a guy went to Yale undergrad and got his MBA at Harvard, I don't care who his daddy was.

Don't care what life of convenience he had.

If you think you get through Yale and then an MBA at Harvard as a complete

imbecile, listen I got my problems with those universities. The guy's not an

imbecile, clearly not an imbecile.

Clearly not an imbecile.

Much of what you saw out of George W. Bush

was a character he learned to play, a character of bravado, the decider.

Texas guy, I'm Texas.

And that was so much his attempt to create an identity that was different from his fathers

and particularly different from Prescott, his grandfather, the senator from the Northeast, Connecticut, I believe.
