Well, hello there. It's Morgan Harper Nichols here. I'm an artist and a writer, and this is a space where I turn the lens on various topics and subjects in hopes to learn something new or see something in a new way. Today's piece is called Remember to Breathe. Thank you so much for listening. If you happen to wake up and hear any bird sing,

things as big things, reminding you to breathe, reminding you to simply be, even if it's

For despite the busyness, you were made for moments just like this.

You were meant to encounter peace before it all makes sense. And yet, it's all too easy to forget. It's all too easy to get lost

in the daily noise that makes it hard to listen out for the many beautiful sacred ways peace is softly singing your name.

So with all of this in mind, I hope you can just be here for this moment. Rest if you can. Remember what is still good and true beyond what you do not understand.

For you won't always be able to see it this way. The hurriedness of life will make it seem as though the wades of peace is a mountain you must climb and yet in grace

peace is here there are rhythms of extraordinary grace and peace tucked in the most ordinary things

the way the clouds take up space, the way each flower blooms

into its own shape, the way every wave falls on the shore exactly when it was meant to.
