You've just gotten his driver's license. He asked his dad about borrowing the car. His

dad said, son, I'll make a deal with you. If you'll bring your grades up, read your Bible

every day and cut your hair, I'll let you borrow the car. Month later, he came back and

asked about it. Dad said, well, son, you've brought your grades up. You've been reading

your Bible, but you still haven't cut your hair. He said, well, dad, I've been thinking

about it. Moses had long hair. Samson had long hair. Even Jesus had long hair. Dad said,

yes, son, and they walked everywhere they went. Hold up your Bible. Say it like you mean

it. This is my Bible. I am what it says I am. I have what it says I have. I can do what

it says I can do. Today, I will be taught the Word of God. I boldly confess my mind is

alert. My heart is receptive. I will never be the same in Jesus' name. God bless you.

I want to talk to you today about remembering the good. Our memory is very powerful. You

can be driving in your car. All of a sudden, you remember a tender moment with your child,

a hug, a kiss. Could have been five years ago. Something funny that they did. But when

you remember it, it will bring a smile to your face. You'll start to feel those same
