0:41.7	Well, the Democrats had a tough year. Not only did they lose the 2024 election, or at least didn't
0:46.5	question the loss, the people seem to have lost faith in them. And as we watch Donald Trump and his
0:51.3	team systematically dismantle our government and listen to the
0:54.5	vice president and the Speaker of the House talk about ignoring the Constitution to give the
0:58.4	executive branch complete power to act without checks and balances, the Democratic Party seems
1:02.9	unprepared or perhaps unwilling to be the opposition that we need. Now, saying that, there are
1:09.3	many aspects to the Democratic Party. It's not just the
1:12.3	representatives in Congress, some who are not in leadership but are really stepping up and fighting
1:16.5	back. But we also have these amazing Democratic governors who are standing firm for their states
1:21.7	and the rule of law and the importance of federalism in the face of tyranny. We have local
1:26.0	Democrats and state Democrats and all the
1:28.5	various committees from the D-Triple C to the DSCC. But when people think of the party, especially in the
1:33.8	absence of a clear leader, it is the DNC, the Democratic National Committee, that they think of as
1:39.6	leadership, whether that's true or not. So today I'm going to have a conversation with the newly
1:44.0	elected leader of that organization, Ken Martin, to see what he has to say about the future of the
