If you’ve been following along our journey and conversations on this podcast, you may have caught on by now just how different the two of us are from one another. Our work styles, our pace, the way we like to socialize… we don’t want to say the typical “opposites attract” thing, but for us, sometimes it really feels that way!
In just the past year, we feel we’ve come a long way in our relationship - learning more about what’s true to ourselves and creating a healthy place for us each to thrive individually and as a couple. It’s obviously a work in progress with lots of ups and downs! A lot of this progress is thanks to the help from our therapist, Julie Carter.
Now that we’re expecting our first babe, the constant challenge of managing our hectic schedules and priorities has been an even bigger point of contention. In the spirit of learning and sharing, we decided to hit record in one of our sessions with Julie so we can refer back to these notes when things get a little tough.
