In early May of 2025, Matt Walsh found himself at the center of a controversy after he quote tweeted someone else's post.

They were having a discussion as to what constitutes a true native person in a country.

The ex post featured an AI-generated image with six white girls, along with Matt's response.

In the post, he wrote, quote, people who look like that have been living in the Americas for five centuries.

If five centuries is not long enough to qualify as native, then how long do you need?

If the answer is that your ancestors have to actually originate from the place, then nobody is native to anywhere.

So where do you draw the line? End quote.

Following his quote tweet response to the image, someone pointed out that if you look at the image just the right way and blur your eyes,

there was a subliminally hidden swastika.

After that, Matt was predictably called a Nazi, and the leftist on X lost their minds.

Walsh, in turn, decided to issue a response on his show.

Would he cave to the pressure and apologize?

Here's what he said. You be the

judge. To any of the smear merchants on any side of the aisle from any faction who have been

spreading this story and demanding that I issue a statement, here is my statement to you.

I apologize for nothing. I owe you nothing. I will not clarify

anything for you or explain anything to you. I know what you're doing. I know the game you're playing.

And if on some incredibly obscure chance any of you are sincerely offended or hurt

or outraged or concerned, I don't care. Your feelings are your problem. I don't give a damn about

them or you. I decline to take part in this struggle session, and I have nothing but contempt for anyone

trying to drag me into it.

The only truly aggrieved party here is me.
