Extraordinary Human Experiences and the Nature of Reality.

When I have guests on my podcasts, I read their books to work out questions for the episodes.

When reading these books, I always find such amazing information that never makes it into the podcast,

and here I get a chance to give you

a peek into the book. I've put a link to the book in the show notes, and I did seek

permission to record this extract, and the author kindly said yes. So I'm going to read from

chapter 10, which is titled Reincarnation and Past Life Recall.

This is a section titled Reincarnation Research, and this is what Bob has written.

While there is no irrefutable scientific evidence conclusively proving or disproving reincarnation,

various suggestive pieces of evidence, such as verified, consciously recalled testimony and positive outcomes in hypnotic past life therapy have piqued the interest of researchers

and opened doors to further inquiry. The unresolved questions and intriguing evidence in this

field have led to the formulation of hypotheses and areas

for future study. These include but are not limited to the following. Number one, can a reliable

and scientifically rigorous research approach be established to test the survival hypothesis?

That is, can consciousness continue to

function independently of the physical body, even after death? Number two, is there a cause and

effect relationship between past life experiences and one's present behavior, personality or

phobias.

And number three, can information from past life experiences
