Wally, Gavin, how are you all feeling today? Are you feeling,, physically, how are you feeling? I heard a little, but I'm old. Okay, all right, I'll take it. As long as you don't, as long as you don't feel sick, that's all that matters to me. No, I'm good. Because we are coming up on cold and flu season. You coughed and made me cough. He coughed and made me cough. It's like a yawn. Well, I know that Wally is cut from the cloth of it's a badge of honor to show up sick. Yep. Death Store. Yeah, on death store. You come in with an IV dripping into your arm. Badge of honor. That is how you do work. That no one gives you. I give it to myself. Somehow. My dead father gives it to me. Oh my goodness. Because he was like, that's how you do it, boy. Oh, my gosh. Okay. Well, it turns out, because I don't like when people show up to work when they're sick. It turns out I'm not alone that a lot of us are concerned for our own health. So if you have someone that's around you, coughing, sneezing, gagging, yeah, you don't want to get sick. Maybe you have kids at home. Maybe you have an elderly parent that you're taking care of and you don't need to get them sick. Yeah. That badge of honor isn't going to help you none. Do you know who you blame? Your company for PTO. Pay time off. Because you used to get paid time off with your vacation days and sick days. Companies started getting rid of sick days. And so it all comes out of this one bucket of paid time off. And so if you're sick, what do you think you're going to do? You've already got your schedule plan for the rest of the year. You know you're taking Christmas off, Thanksgiving, got some birthday, you got all this travel. You're sick? You think you're gonna take your vacation days to be sick? No, you're not. You're coming to work. Do most places do that? Do we do that? We did. We transitioned like a year or two. This is the end of it this year. Oh, yeah. Okay. But we do that? Do we do that? We did. We transitioned like a year or two. No, this is the end of it this year.

Oh, yeah. Okay. But we do that. Well, anyways, all that to say, maybe your company hasn't transitioned and you do have sick days.

Well, keep in mind, don't show up when you're sick because a lot of people will look at you like you're being selfish because you showed up sick. And that annoys me. No. And so your relationships with your coworkers are going to be negatively affected. You just come across the selfish. It's not selfish. I'm coming in to do my job so you don't have to do my job for me. Yeah, but then I'm going to get sick and I don't have any time to take off. So you're

getting everybody else sick. So it's about you then? No, it's not about. No, it's about you. Because

you came in to make everybody else sick. I came in to do my job. Here are some precautions to keep

you from getting sick. Drink plenty of water. Okay. Get enough sleep and take your vitamins.

I take these new vitamins. They're gummies, obviously. Therefore, because I don't like swallowing pills, so I have to chew my vitamins like a child. But they're like to increase your immune system so that you won't get sick. Oh, good. Yeah, I took them all the way. I've been taking them for like a year. I've been doing really good until I got to my daughter's wedding. I got on a plane, went to Ireland, and then sure enough, wedding day, I was sick as a dog. Should I used to PTO day? No, I will not. I went to her wedding. I should have just stayed home. Yeah, that's exactly the attitude, Rock. Why did I even show up there? I could have made other people sick. Oh, this world.

You're so selfish.

buy my food and get out. Well, it's because companies know how to get you in, pull you in,

try to keep you engaged.

Send me emails and text messages that I don't want.

And then they nickel and dime you to death.

And so I found what I think might be the worst version of nickel and diming that I've seen in a while.

So Volkswagen has some electric cars.

They've got that new electric bus, the mini bus. That's so bus. I saw one out in the wild recently. Yeah, I could see you driving that. It is so cute, but I'm telling you the older generation is a lot cuter. Yeah. But the new one is pretty neat. It's a good version of a modern thing. Like if I was your dad and you were driving around an old beater bus, I would worry about your safety.
