I don't think we need to make this as complicated as many people are making it.

So he was on Meet the Press and talked about it for nine minutes.

It's an hour-long interview, and they talked about it for nine minutes.

Quick for the record, I am as pro-life as you can possibly get.

I believe that abortion is a direct parallel to slavery.

It's actually, the more you think about it, it's quite shocking how many perfect parallels there are to it.

You don't, you don't know one for all of history ever made any moral defense of slavery think about that all the great

philosophers for thousands of years of slavery they never made a moral

defense of slavery because no one ever made any moral critiques of slavery think

about that thousands of years slavery's always, all peoples, and it was never questioned.

No one ever said, hmm, maybe we shouldn't do that.

Thousands of years.

No one ever said, maybe we shouldn't own other people.

It was only Christians in England and America who ever put up a fight against slavery.

And that's why the only writings in history to defend slavery come out of the American South.
