Church. And that's what this episode is about. If we have a good reason to reject the authority claims of the

Roman Catholic Church, then we have no reason to embrace the

extramidal

teachings it has on stuff like purgatory, the papacy, indulgences, the priesthood the priesthood Mary or the sacraments.

What you're about to hear is part two of a four-part series on refuting Catholicism.

Let's get started. Tonight we're going to refute Roman Catholic claims to have supreme authority over all

believers in Jesus.

And we're going to refute claims that the Papacy and the Roman Catholic Church carry the authority of Jesus Christ on Earth.

And it's interesting is that if somebody came up to the Catholic Church, not Catholics but the church, and said who do you think you are Jesus?

The Pope could turn and respond, well, because his title, the vicar of Christ or the representative of Jesus, and this doesn't

mean like the way you represent Christ, we all represent Christ in some sense, it means supremely and ultimately
