Hello, humans. I am very pleased to let you know that I recently went on an adventure

to the highest mountain peak of the world where I met the wisest man in the world. And I am now offering

you a course of complete and total transformation. You can transform your body, transform your mind,

transform your wife and kids and dogs

into the perfect beings that you always knew deep down you were.

None of that's true, of course,

but the idea of transformation is so sexy.

It is so incredible.

And I love the symbolism of transformation, but let's just talk for a second about how seductive the idea.

I mean, the magnetism and draw of that concept of transforming, transcending, this idea that you can change,

whether it be through alchemy, turning lead into gold, or through ritual, turning regular person into, you know,

hero, or through intervention of the gods. I mean, it's good stuff. It's good stuff. And it's a

attractive force. And it's something that you actually need to look out for as you go out into the world people selling

this idea of transformation and being more than you actually are and somehow becoming that thing

you always knew you were and i hope you know by now i'm a massive fan in the journey of transformation

and of improvement being a part of your odyssey of life.

I really love it. It guides me, gives me purpose, gives me things to do. So this is not a call to

apathy. It is just to recognize the seductive power of transformation. What I've come to realize and

appreciate recently, what's most pulling, what's most desirable is not always the best strategy.

So I'm going to use transformation as an example. I think more often than not the idea of transformation, whether it be through personal

transformation, political revolution, whatever, just radical transforming, radical alchemy of

changing one thing into a completely new thing.
