Hello and welcome to Psychic Teachers. I'm your host Samantha Fey.

And I'm Deb Bowen and we are so glad and honored that you have joined us this week.

Samantha and I have struggled. We have cried. We have had lots and lots of conversation

about this podcast episode this week. Certainly this is not what we had planned for this week.

We were trying to get dry book club for you and that is coming.

But we felt a real need to share with you our thoughts and our responses to some of the responses that we've gotten from you all about our plan for meditation this week.

And here's here's what happens. Samantha and Denise for partner with enlightened in paths and I mutually agreed that on enlightened in paths and on psychic teachers.

And on my Devon friends quest for connection podcast Facebook pages. We would invite you to join with us every afternoon at three o'clock Eastern US time for just a moment of silence and meditation for peace in the world.

That was our only intent. It is still our intent. I'm old folks and I watched the civil rights movement of the 1960s. I watched the Vietnam War on television in the 1960s.

I marched in civil rights marches. I marched against the Vietnam War. I marched in the environmental movement. I've marched for peace. I've done those things.

And I believe more strongly than I can tell you in the notion of peace in this world. And I know that that's what's going on in this world with the I with the Black Lives Matter movement is crucial in this time in history.

Absolutely Samantha and I believe Black Lives Matter. But I comment that phrase from the position of an old white woman and all I can do is be that old white woman in the way that I can do to bring about love and peace at harmony in a world so chaotic right now.

And that's what we've done. We've asked you to join with us for just a moment to bring about peace. We know many, many, many people are grieving. We're grieving.

And we know that grief has many faces. Grief isn't just about sadness. Grief is fear. Grief is anger. Grief is many things. And when we have such a wide variety and gamut of emotions, we lash out sometimes at the people we love.

We lash out at people that we feel safest with. And it is what it is. And the time will come when the grief will shift and it will obey. And there can be forever and always the hope and the promise that what is happening in the world right now will change.

It will be a harbinger of what is better about all of us in this world. It will be a hope that we will see a time when just one moment of peace.

Does it seem like very long at all. We also, I think, need to pay attention to our own internal compass. Samantha and I have never claimed to be spiritual leaders.

We don't think of ourselves that way at all. We think of ourselves as teachers of intuition and crystals to row and manifesting. But what we are as teachers in teaching the idea of intuition, is that we hope that we share with you the notion that your own internal compass your own intuition is a great starting point.

Where perhaps you can shed away what's being bombarded to us all these days about information and learn to trust yourself.

And I think that when we do that, that we find within us an integrity and a caring and a compassion that's within us all.

And courage.

Yes. And that's what we ask you to look for.
