Good morning, everyone. I'm Kate Baldwin. It's Thursday, June 4th. Here are your five things.

Number one, the war powers. The House just delivered a rare bipartisan rebuke to President Trump,

and it all has to do with the Iran War. Four Republicans joined Democrats to pass the resolution that directs the

president to remove U.S. armed forces from hostilities with Iran or come get approval from Congress

to continue. Government watchdogs at the Pentagon and State Department also launched a review of the

conflict, which they are legally required to do if military operations last more than 60 days.

This war has now been going on

for more than 90 days, more than three months. The Pentagon, though, has tried, as you remember,

to argue that the ceasefire that they put in place reset the clock on that. Others in Washington

clearly aren't buying it now. We'll see where it goes from there. And if you look at video,

though, coming out of the region, the term ceasefire may need

some refining.

Kuwait's government shared footage of what it says was an Iranian drone and missile

attack on the country's airport this week.

One person was killed, 63 wounded.

Iran also claims it hit U.S. military targets in Kuwait and Bahrain.

After the U.S. disabled and oil in oil tankard headed

toward Iran, when asked whether the ceasefire was holding, President Trump said this.

Some people would say they were slightly provoked because we took a strong action for a

different reason, so they were reciprocating. How do you define ceasefire?

Pretty much the way it is. It's a different part of the world. You know, I'd say in that part of the

world, ceasefire is when you're shooting in a more moderate manner. Number two, the Voterabom.
