from Monday or yesterday, but I listened to it. Very good interview with Jay Gruden. So,

JP's going to join us here from the jump and spend some time with us.

So one of the things that I wanted to get to before we get to the game on Sunday and other

things is I just wanted to start with this Adrian Peterson thing and tell you what I

sort of described on the radio show this morning, which was that I think I'm surprised at how wrapped up in this thing

we have gotten.

Like, it's not even for the fan base, I don't think, JP, a matter of, you know, Adrian

Peterson's feelings.

It's more of like this opening to totally bash Jay Gruden, as if somehow deactivating Adrian Peterson was

revealing of Jay Gruden not being a great coach, because it just seems that's been the reaction.

And my reaction after the game was that that was just a smaller story, like down the line

of things that interested me, that intrigued me, that I was,

you know, that I was thinking about, and the things that I were thinking about was, wow, that

offense was pretty good. Wow, that defense sucked and is Greg Minusky in trouble?

You know, it was more about those things, and I thought and felt like on Monday and Tuesday,

this whole Adrian

Peterson deactivation story was the number one thing that people were talking about. Am I off

in not recognizing this as like the story after the first game?
