1:05.8	Over the past couple of searchlight programs, we have been considering redemption.
1:12.6	This is because our text in Romans chapter 3 tells us that we have been redeemed, and we want to know just what this means.
1:19.4	We are gaining understanding of what this means by looking at an Old Testament picture of
1:24.7	redemption found in the story of Ruth.
1:28.0	In this story, Naomi and her family had left the promised land and gone to Moab.
1:33.6	Her husband and two sons died, and she came back to Bethlehem with nothing.
1:38.8	Her daughter-in-law Ruth came with her, and now Ruth has met Boas.
1:43.7	He is a kinsman redeemer who can buy back what
1:46.7	Naomi has lost. Let's now join Pastor John, as the story continues to unfold, and we see
1:53.5	just what it means to us. And then he invites her to come and eat at his table. Verse 14.
2:01.4	And she sat beside the other reapers, the hired workers.
2:06.5	They must have been blown away.
2:08.8	And she was sufficed of what he served her.
