I think that feels like a nice package there.

And, Mass, just to go back to efficiency here, and I think this is a really important contextual point.

Most teams operate that way now.

And a lot of the really, really good organizations, and I'm going to throw the Milwaukee Brewers out there,

and I understand the Red Sox have manifold more resources than the brewers could ever hope to have.

But when you're trying to operate efficiently, you don't look at a single season as being

necessarily like of great paramount importance unless your players are telling you this season

and telling you not through words but through their play that this season is something that

you need to go spend capital on the you know the the the red sox they're they're trying to build

something that is sustainable and that's a really hard thing to do.

And it's even harder when you have budgetary constraints that are put in place by ownership.

I think if the Red Sox had a bigger budget, and if they were back, you know, well into the luxury tax like they have been in past seasons. It's a completely different story.

Go out at that point and spend some of that prospect capital.

But if there are no promises that the budget's going to expand,

you have to have a decent balance of those young players and those expensive players.
