He gets first and third, two outs, one and two count against the guy who's hit him well. and all he has to do is bear down a little bit on that one pitch,

that one at bat, that one sequence,

and he can't throws up just a meatball, a 88 mile an hour cutter over the, you know, middle, middle, middle in. And Riley hits it 430 feet. You go down 3-0, and that's your ball game. I just thought it was a gutless at bat by Brian Bayle. And then he, of course, unraveled, walked the bases loaded next inning, walked in a run, gave up another run, ended up giving up. Was it seven or six of the seven? Whatever. He gave up at least six of them and he had three walks and one strikeout. So it's another gutless performance by Brian Bayle from a gutless baseball team. That was sort of the baseball take to open up the show. But we've also circled back to the Patriot schedule. That's on the board.
