Summary

Everyone loses deals. Everyone gets knocked down. The difference between average performers and winners isn't avoiding failure—it's recovering faster. In this episode, Bob Stewart and Chad Hyams break down how high performers process loss, shorten the emotional drag, and get back into motion before most people even stand up.

You'll learn the psychology behind slow recovery, the 24–48 hour rule for resetting after a loss, how to extract lessons without spiraling, and why momentum comes from movement—not motivation. A practical, leadership-driven conversation on turning setbacks into forward progress.

i haven't looked at all your notes yet but when i saw recovering from failure i just figured it was how does Bob get over the Seahawks blowing it again? I mean, we could talk about how I got over it the last time we were at the one yard line and we passed the ball instead of ran. And like that was devastating. Well, I think that one's been talked to death in the world of sports. I know. like as a fan though like, like, I just, it, that might be the worst loss in fandom ever. And so we can maybe wrap that in here a little bit. That is not going to be the case this year. This actually came, Chad, out of, you'll love this because if this is, I know you looked over the notes or whatever. This is nowhere in the notes. So this is kind of, I'm like surprising you.
