Summary
Romans 5:11 - Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
Romans 2:12-16 - For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law. 13 For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified. 14 For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them 16 on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus.

| 0:11.0 | God. We are here in Romans chapter 4 doing a deep dive into |
| 0:16.1 | this writing of the apostle Paul which some people say is the most extensive |
| 0:21.0 | treatment of the gospel in the entire Bible and I believe |
| 0:24.7 | that's pretty accurate there is so much depth to what has happened for us in and |
| 0:30.9 | through Christ Jesus. |
| 0:33.0 | And Paul is taking us through many, many of those topics right here in Romans chapter 5. |
| 0:37.8 | In fact, we're only need to spend today's episode on one small verse that highlights one massive piece of truth that we really need to get into our hits and our hearts. |

| 0:56.8 | where there is a repeated and seemingly ongoing sense |

| 1:08.0 | they feel like there's something God has against them, |
| 1:12.1 | like they are not worthy of his love, that they've done too much, those kinds of things. |
| 1:19.0 | My friends, that is a very natural and understandable response when we look at ourselves for who we are |
| 1:26.2 | compared to who God is. |
| 1:29.2 | There's no reason not to think that way actually, God is holy infinite righteous everything good in fact |
| 1:38.4 | he's everything that we are not because on the other hand, we are sinful and failing and rebellious and full of pride. |
| 1:47.9 | We are the epitome of one who is not like God in and of ourselves. |
| 1:54.0 | And so that feeling that that person has or perhaps that you have sometimes in your life |
