All right we have a number of requests today

that I'm going to be praying through.

I want to ask you to pray with me as you listen.

Now what does it mean to pray with someone

as they're praying? Well, it means to listen to the words

they say, ponder what it is their meaning, and then agree with them to the extent

that you can or you feel the Lord would have you agree.

And echo that sentiment in your own heart, in your own mind, to the Father.

And we pray together for the same things in this way and we lift them up through the power of prayer.

And my friends there really is power in prayer. God has told us in his word that if we ask for things

according to his will, he hears us and gives us the things that we ask for things according to his will. He hears us and gives us the things that we

ask for. So the problematic point might be well how do I know it's according to his

will we have the promise in Romans chapter 8 that the Holy Spirit will pray for us, he will

intercede with us according to the Father's will.

So we don't have to analyze and worry about what is according to God's will and what isn't.

We can trust the Holy Spirit to filter what we pray through the will of God

and to present it to the Father in the very way it needs to be presented.
