Perhaps one of the most high-profile staffers in the Obama administration,

perhaps the longest-lasting. She's an advisor to the president and oversees a number of things,

including the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Engagement,

which does outreach to state and local officials and stakeholders across the board,

from business large and small to college students to athletes.

She is also the chair of the White House Council on Women and Girls, which is charged to promote
