Recode Decode. On this show we talk about technology, politics, media, and the ways in which they

intersect with our lives. Today's guests in the red chair are Lena Dunham and Jenny Conner,

co-creators of the HBO show Girls. You're here to talk about Lenny, their latest project,

a newsletter about feminism, contemporary culture, and other topics that interest well, mostly women.

In addition to her work on Girls, Dunham wrote and directed the movie Tiny Furniture and released

her memoir last year called Not That Kind of Girl. Conner has worked on shows you might remember

from the old days of the 2000s, like HBO's George and Martha, or Judd Apatos Undeclared.
