| 0:00.0 | Hello and welcome back to practicing human, the podcast where every day we're getting a little better at life. |
| 0:06.7 | I'm your host, Corey Miscara, and in today's episode, we are going to talk about reclaiming the body, |
| 0:14.7 | and specifically how to reaccess your body's intelligence. |
| 0:20.3 | More to come on that in a moment. |
| 0:22.3 | First, let's settle in together with the sound of the bells. |
| 0:55.4 | Thank you. In yesterday's podcast, we talked about following the energy as a way of assessing when to move towards something or when there might be ground to pause. |
| 1:02.4 | And I mentioned in that episode how one of the prerequisites for being able to do that is a certain level of attunement to the body and how many of us have learned to disconnect from our bodies, often without |

| 2:20.3 | Because honestly, without that, it is just so easy to make decisions that override a deeper intelligence. |
| 2:30.0 | And this is just this slippery slope into burnout, into misalignment, and then, yes, things like |
| 2:37.6 | chronic illness, disease, stress, anxiety, depression, all of it. If you can't catch the subtle |
| 2:45.8 | early signs, you often only start paying attention to when things have really escalated when you're |
| 2:53.9 | forced to look at them. If you miss the whispers, you will have to put your entire life on hold |
