Summary

God is omnipresent and is never far from us. When we go through issues, He waits for us to invite Him into our lives so that He can begin working on our behalf. We desperately need God to help us with things we cannot do on our own. His presence transforms us; when He is with us He works in us to change us in ways we are unable to do on our own. An intimate, personal relationship with Him gives us peace and allows His grace to flow into our lives; we need to know Him well enough to trust and rely on Him in all situations so that we can carry His presence with us wherever we go. We see supernatural manifestations only when we seek God simply for who He is, not for anything we can get from Him. When we are willing to put God first in our lives and let Him lead us, others will be able to see Him through us.

0:27.2	this morning. I want you to think about this as I read it. I believe that the presence of God is not to be trained by us but we're
0:41.4	to be trained by him because God can show up and do something in a life of a person
0:47.0	and it only takes three seconds of what they've been trying to do for a whole lifetime.

1:02.0	It's always near everybody. But I'm not going to ever just come in and force myself

1:20.7	And rather than just teaching principles on this, I want to specifically
1:27.0	take the time to show this congregation how to accept his presence every day, how to receive his presence every day. He's near.
1:38.0	He might be going through hell two feet away from him and have not yet received him. His
1:49.5	presence has to be received. His presence is here right now, but it shouldn't take a song
1:57.4	to get it stirred up in you. But there's nothing wrong with a song.
