Egram Smith but Elliott back again for another episode the no cast but this should be a

a pretty fun podcast. Pretty positive optimistic assessment of a position group that Florida State matches up with just about as well as

anybody except maybe one school in the upstate of the South Carolina. So we're going to be looking at the wide receivers today.

A lot of different names to get to. Not a ton lost from last year's roster. By now you know,

have a pretty good ideas to how we try to go through this. Give you an ideas what you lost what you bring them back.

A best case scenario for the position group and but we go ahead and jump into one of the groups that we think is an absolute

strength when it comes to the 2019 iteration of Florida State football. I'm all about it. Let's start talking about the

receivers and you can't talk about the receivers without talking about who you lost and that was Niklaan Murray.

Kind of a. Additional vice attraction potentially here guy who.

You know teammate wise and leader wise not what Florida State needed at the time maybe a guy you could put on your team

once your culture was already good but certainly not a guy you wanted around when it wasn't.

And so losing him and his 85 targets 54 catches 744 yards.

Three touchdowns and his catch rate of 64%.

Now I'm not saying Murray was a bad player he was not.

Again he was the most targeted player on the team. Part of that could be because gender friends while I like to target him a lot.

His marginal efficiency though was actually the highest on the team amongst the receivers with at least 20 catches.

5.2% in comparison to Mario and Terry who will talk about in a moment. Just 3.0% now Terry's explosiveness was double of Murray.

So there's some give and take there but.

We always ask hey how big are these losses and I'm I'm struggling to get real worked up over over the loss of Nikon Murray for this offense.

Oh man Nikon we will we will miss the I would believe at some point last year I labeled him the most believable player on the roster and by that I meant.

You tell me that Nikon Murray just juke five people and you know scored a critical touchdown for you on a 39 yard reception I can believe it.

You tell me you can't run the offense because Nikon Murray is busy flexing on a second team defense a back after a five yard gain I can believe it.
