Summary
The proposal episode feels like a romcom with its heartfelt moments amidst Luke's nerves, Zach's stress, and Nia's efforts to make sure Kristen showers and dresses up. Their careful planning pays off and Detective Doute is completely surprised and shocked by a beautiful and emotional moment. Things take an unexpected turn as Janet's initial reaction is disdain that her vacation away from her baby has been centered around Kristin's engagement, while also deciding to remove herself from gatherings to prioritize Kristin's moment devoid of negativity. Brittany is crestfallen to learn that she was left out of planning, and fishin', as Zach feels the sting of her party planning feedback. In the end, Kristin feels like the luckiest girl in the world so the trip was a success.

| 0:00.0 | Welcome to the high and low podcast. This is your host Bravo Bravo, Bravo, Ducking Bravo, |
| 0:08.8 | and we are about to recap The Valley. This is episode 12 of season two. So I'm going to assume |
| 0:14.9 | that this is the season finale, but we'll see once I get going. And guess what they named it? |
| 0:19.3 | Will you Maui me? They're stop. They're doing |
| 0:21.6 | too much. There's been so much discourse over the past like two weeks about Jacks Taylor, all these |
| 0:26.4 | articles. I've been linking all of them on my Patreon. Just this debate of whether or not Bravo |
| 0:30.4 | should keep him. Pretty much here's how it is. The entire world is saying get rid of this man. |
| 0:35.8 | This is abusive, toxic behavior. You should not be platforming it. And one person, Alex Baskin, is saying, like, I don't know, Williams, but I feel like we should tell his side of the story. So per usual, who knows what Bravo is going to do. But the good news is, Jacks is not on this trip. And that's why I'm looking forward to this episode. Now, it kicks off by showing us that everybody's going down to dinner, except Kristen and Luke aren't there. Remember, he was having a hard time in the last episode. And really, it's his stress and anxiety about the proposal. Also, his grandmother not doing well. But Kristen thinks it's wholly about his grandmother not doing well. So she's being very loving here. So she's saying, |
| 1:11.1 | here I got you towel, change your clothes, go take a shower in this nice big shower. And in a |
| 1:16.0 | confessional, she tells us that when Luke is upset, he will either go on a walk or on a drive by |
| 1:20.3 | himself and deal with his emotions. So mature, we love to see it. Back at the table, Brittany is |
| 1:25.2 | updating people on what is going to go on back home while |
| 1:27.7 | she's here. Well, you know, uh, Zooli is going to be at my house with Cruz a whole time. And then Zach, what was going to happen is like, if Jack wants to play with Cruz, he's going to come over to my house. And in confessional, she says, this is the first time that I've had a vacation in like 10 years that Jacks hasn't been on. |
| 1:43.1 | And it's weird that he's not here |
| 1:44.6 | because like people are all coupled up |
| 1:45.9 | but also it's really freeing. |
| 1:47.1 | Like I'm so glad he didn't come. that I've had a vacation in like 10 years that Jacks hasn't been on. And it's weird that he's not here because, like, people are all coupled up. |
| 1:46.0 | But also it's really freeing. Like, I'm so glad he didn't come. And we are so glad, too. This woman deserves to just actually relax and have a good time on a vacation. It is weird that Jacks didn't go, though, isn't it? I'm not the only one that feels like it's weird. that he didn't go in a group event |
| 2:00.7 | when he has like the worst fomo of anyone. |
| 2:04.0 | When he was dying to be back in front of the camera. So it is odd, but who knows? Now, when Kristen and Luke get to the dinner table, Luke sits down and he's so tense. He is so stressed out and he sits next to Danny and Danny check on him like, hey, you doing okay? |
| 2:18.5 | And Luke says, I'll talk to you later. |
| 2:20.1 | In a confessional, Danny says he knows that Luke is really stressed out about this proposal, but he's going to have to keep it together. |
