| 0:27.0 | What's up everybody? Welcome to move the stick DJ and Bucky with you. I am in Florida for the east west shrine game. Bucky is got the call for the NFL PA game. |
| 0:37.0 | San Jose taking some of those prospects, which we can dig into a little bit later time. But man, we've got to discuss what we saw in the national championship game last night. |
| 0:48.0 | Lot of talent on display in the national championship game. Both teams are loaded with NFL caliber players from the quarterback positions to some of the guys that we saw at the skill positions, particularly a wide receiver. |
| 0:58.0 | Even some of the defensive guys that stepped up and made some splash plays. There's a lot of talent on display. It's one of those things that would be must see TV for scouts and evaluators. |
| 1:08.0 | Yeah, we get to that in detail. We also have the final four. We've got the final four. The championship games coming up this coming weekend. We'll touch on, you know, what's made those teams so successful this year. Not only just looking at the quarterbacks there, but kind of running them through our formula. |
| 1:26.0 | We talked about on the movie six podcast last year. What is the championship formula? What's the foundation of a championship team? And we came up with a list of 12 players that different positions and different roles. You need to be a championship caliber team. |
| 1:41.0 | So we'll kind of run all four of those teams through that car wash. See what it looks like in a little bit. But I do want to start there. Biggest takeaway watching that game last night because I had my tape out. You know, I've got I've got my top 50 list coming out next week. |
| 1:55.0 | I've got a pump out of my draft. I think we'll be out Friday. So I'm trying to do some work and watch games in the background. And this one I said, you know what screw it. I'm just going to sit down and take in this championship game because there was so, so many NFL guys to watch. It was a lot of fun. |
| 2:11.0 | Yeah, it was a ton of fun to watch day game. The game kind of played out. And the way that we thought it would be we thought it would be a shootout. We thought. |
| 2:19.0 | Guys would have an opportunity to kind of make some plays. And I mean, there were a lot of plays to be made. I think you have to be impressive with what Clemson was able to do very early in the game. Their playmakers, their experience, T Higgins kind of showed up a showed out pretty early. |
| 2:32.0 | And then when LSU settled in everyone I talk about Joe Burr and Joe Burr was terrific. But I think that that game did really put a spotlight on the playmakers that he had around him. |
| 2:43.0 | Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson, those two guys dominated the game. Thetias Moss Mason plays. But what you saw like elite premier pass catchers dominating the game on the outside. |
| 2:56.0 | And you know, I think for the reason why LSU was able to roll through their schedule is because they were doing things that are very, very unique to what they do, particularly in the conference where they played it. |
| 3:07.0 | They had an accumulation of outstanding blue chip telling on the outside. They had the perfect point guard and Joe Burr and they basically spread and shred teams in a way that we hadn't seen. I've never seen so much empty five wide formations from a team that kind of fancies himself as a physical team. |
| 3:25.0 | But LSU puts their athletes in space and they just kind of test and see if you can hold up and most teams have no team has been able to hold up and we saw that kind of take place again. |
| 3:36.0 | It's funny, you know, it's you look watch college football right now and you see you see some of the same things. I would say probably eight years ago, maybe eight, 10 years ago, but we saw the bubble screen craze, right. |
| 3:49.0 | And then I feel like now it is slants and verticals from the slot like that is that is college offense right now and it is it is 101 and you basically just decide kind of what leverage you get. |
| 4:00.0 | You want to give them those slants. They're going to take it all day long. They're empty you out, find the matchup that they like and then when you try and get up in them, they're going to be able to check up on the outside and they're going to get vertical from the slot with all that real estate to work and we saw it over and over again in that game. |
| 4:17.0 | So schematically was kind of fun to watch what they were doing, but the quarterback now talking to a former GM out here practice today and we had a great conversation about about burrow. |
