Tough weekend.

My mom passed away on Saturday morning. She's an amazing woman. I had 45 bonus years with her, though, because she, by all right, should have passed away when I was seven years old. So I'm lucky in that respect. And, you know, this weekend has gone as good as it could possibly could. She's an amazing woman. If there's a heaven, she'll be in it for sure. And I'm grateful that I've had the time with her, and I got to be here for that. So all good. And I'm happy to talk baseball now. For sure. Well said. And obviously, I express to you privately, but, you know, I'm hoping to hear my condolences to you and the family. so so so so sorry for your loss but uh you said that you are you definitely up for this

Warnock's start with kind of previewing weeks with the next week and doing some fat. I want to start with injury stuff because it's so amazingly prevalent in baseball right now.

I don't think you and i thought a week ago or 10 days ago we drafted the you and i were having a text conversation about whether or not we dropped spencer strider or like what's going on here i got i lost my yeah a third starter in the in the Vegas made event but let's start with strider um you know he's a guy that was uh kind of in

main events was like the second pick in most drafts a couple he went first but i mean he was a top you know 10 pick in any format you're in me he was probably top six in the nfbc most of draft season went up in the main event you know pitching always gets moved up you know and if you drafted spencer strata you did so with the theory that well here's my ace here's how i build it and i'm

going to get some offense now, maybe get one more pitcher, but like you are building your team around that base of 275 strikeouts, whatever it may be. Did you, I know you have him in a couple spots. Did you hold on him? I think we talked about that I said I would have held on him

until we get a little bit more news here. But I mean, everything about this sounds bad, sounds long term. The quote from the Braves about the, you know, the MRI quote didn't look good. Like there's, it's hard to see this going anyway, but the way we don't want to. Exactly. Exactly. I have Sprider in five leagues, as a matter of fact.

I don't have them i have strider and five leagues as a matter of fact uh i don't have

them in the main i we did discuss taking him at one point one decided to go with the cune by the way

haven't really got the benefit of the bargain there yet we're gonna talk about him a little bit later

too but man can you imagine yeah if you were like making that call and you would change your mind late,

that would have been a tough on the stomach right now.

Yeah, I've got him, you know, I got him as a super cheap keeper in the staff keeper league.
