little bell icon. When I started covering this trial at the very beginning, I told you guys,

when Lori Daybell goes to trial in early June, my main focus is going to shift over to that

case. And that will be happening at the beginning of next week if jury selection

goes smoothly. So for Karen Reed, I'll probably be able to do an update about every other day,

not as in depth as I normally do daily, but at least enough so that we can keep up with what's

happening with what I assume will be the defense

case at that point. There is a chance I will be traveling out to Phoenix next week, so that can

change things as well, but we'll just go with the flow and see what happens. Let's jump right into

testimony. We had Dr. Judson Welter from Aperture, the accident reconstructionist on the stand.

And I will say I simplified this the best way I could.

He looked at the police reports, the ring video from John's house, dash cam video, photos of

Karen's SUV, photos from 34 Fairview, Karen's car being brought to the Sally Port, surveillance

files from McCarthy's and the waterfall bar.

He looked at the onboard Lexus Connect system, Verizon records, and pretty much all of the hard evidence from this case.

He started his investigation on September 23rd of last year.

He came to Massachusetts and did an inspection of the SUV. He also used a laser scanner to make a 3D model of Karen's SUV,
