Rebel Wilson played the character Fat Amy in the pitch-perfect movies.

And she's disclosing that the contract she had for pitch-perfect actually prohibited her

from losing weight.

I did wait until pitch-perfect seemed like it was over.

I couldn't lose a massive amount of weight because I was in the contracts for that movie.

I think it was more than 10 pounds or more than 10 pounds.

You have to stay at the weights and let in your contract.

And she was not offended by being asked to play a character with that name.

I got sent the script and she sends me this script and goes,

I hope you don't not offended, but the character is called Fat Amy.

And then I read it and I was like, no, Fat Amy is the best character in the whole movie.

Of course I'd love to play it.

And it really didn't offend.

I guess, you know, it's not.

I mean, that was kind of distinctive about the character and I love playing her like so much.
