Today I have the pleasure of speaking with Rebecca Koffler.

She is a Russian-born US intelligence expert

who has worked with the Defense Intelligence Agency,

as well as the CIA.

She led red teams during war games

and has briefed the Pentagon, the White House,

and NATO on Russian affairs.

So obviously this situation, I mean,

you wrote the book before your book,

before everything took place between Ukraine

and Russia, and so it's become very relevant,

and you've been making the rounds on a lot of news organizations

discussing your perspective on Russia.

Before we get to that, because I know that

even amongst conservatives, there's a debate,

and everyone doesn't really understand

what's happening in that region.
