I've never dealt with this before. So it's most families when they start going through like this.

They don't know what to do. No one's there to say do this to that. So there was no one to say that.

So we were just all doing it at the moment. You know, everybody I think looks back and said, well, I would have done this differently. I would have done that differently.

So yeah, and you look at all the stories you've done of people missing in hell. Most of them aren't found.

You know, I mean, yeah, once in a while someone does go off that, you know, they do do that. But that's not usually the case.

But there's always sometimes more pieces because I know even the first detective she said, this story is just so interesting.

She goes, every time we search something, there's something else. She said there's just so many like tentacles to the story.

On February 5, 2019, 33 year old Rebecca Moodraw drove to one of the houses her boyfriend, Joe Coker owned in Lakinta, California.

He had called and said he'd like to make her dinner. She had plans to meet up with a friend after visiting Joe, but never returned from the gated property she had entered to see her boyfriend that day.

Her friend sent numerous text messages and called her phone, but the messages went unread and the calls unreturned.

In the year since Rebecca was last seen on surveillance and turning the gated community where Joe lived, she hasn't been seen or heard from again.

The search for her has turned into more than just a missing person's investigation, with multiple people dead, riches and corruption unchecked, and no sign of Rebecca.

Rebecca was born with so many people who loved her. Her birth mom was a teenager who was being fostered, and Rebecca was adopted by her birth mom's foster mother's family.

So many people doded on the vivacious young girl from the day that she entered the world. For this story, we spoke to Rebecca's adoptive mother Sarah, and she told us about Rebecca's early life.

We adopted Rebecca when she was five months old. She was a very smiley baby. She was a very happy baby. Not really a codler, she could be because she was very active, and she was always busy. She had a hard time sitting still.

She was friendly, she loved when she went to the playground, she had always find a friend. She had no fear.
