Hey guys, it's Kathy. So this is another one of those bonus real talk episodes of Don't Keep Your Day Job.

My husband and I just decided to do a few episodes for you guys to share sort of about our life, our marriage, what's going on behind the scenes.

We're going to do a few of these and if it winds up feeling good, we'll keep doing it if not, we'll stop.

But it's been fun having these sessions. We've been actually recording them on Sundays live in front of a group on Zoom.

And today we're joined by a very special couple Danielle and Adam Silverstein. They have their own podcast, which is called Marriage and Martinis.

You might actually remember Danielle because she was on this podcast last year. She was actually one of our listeners and we had her on to share her success because as a result of listening to this show, she created her own podcast.

And you'll hear today a little bit of a recap, but essentially she built a huge community and a beautiful, profitable, awesome business out of her podcast.

Because you'll see her content is so real and so authentic. And I think that they are inspiring for lots of reasons.

And I thought they would be such a good couple to bring on because their podcast is so real. They share the messy, the overwhelming, the ugly parts.

It's just super honest, which is why I think it's doing so well. And it's such a relief sometimes to hear that other couples go through the same fights, whether they're big or small, because in reality, no one has the perfect relationship.

Nobody is getting along 24 seven. No one has it all together in their life or in their business. We're all just trying to figure things out as best we can.

Excellent. Well, I'm happy today. I'm happy because we have two guests with us. Adam and Danielle Silverstein, would you guys like to say hi?

This is so cool. And it comes full circle. Let me tell you why. And you guys can go listen to the full episode. We'll drop the link in the show notes to when Danielle was on the podcast herself.

Telling the epic story of how she actually was a listener of this podcast got inspired to start her own podcast and started it and it blew up and her show is called Marriage of Martinis. And really it's half her show and half her husband show they do it together.

And we did an entire episode on how they literally in the midst of like their marriage felt like it was like spinning off the rails. Everything was sort of uncertain.

They started a podcast. Not only did it really help their marriage, but it helped many, many, many, many other people's marriages and it built them a side hustle, which turned into something very real very quickly.

We did an entire episode on that, but I just wanted to say, hey, and before we dive into today's episode, maybe you can tell us and Adam, you can, you could share from your perspective, a little bit of what it was like before, both with your marriage and also in terms of how it affected not just your marriage, but your financial life, like what this actually turned into because it's a full on successful entity now.
