I'm glad you spent time with family and friends.

It's a much better way to spend your time than just talking Seahawks all the time,

which honestly, it's about the only thing I can manage to do lately.

How was your holiday weekend?

It was good.

I'm still beaming over the Sheldon Richardson trade, man.

Yeah. Even though I was kind of out of town and had some stuff to do up north for a wedding and some family stuff, that was still the top of my mind. I can't get over there. They were able to pull that off. And we kind of had that on the show almost a month ago, and it kind of came to fruition last minute. I'm still beaming. I can't get over that they were able to pull that off and how exciting this team is right now. Yeah, it's a huge move. It's a huge move to, I mean, we talked about it a little bit, but I tweeted about it. I don't think you can over-emphasize. I mean, the Seahawks went in into the draft with a clear

plan, and they, Pete Carroll and John Schneider wanted a three technique, which I know is like

detailed for some people, but there's a specific defensive line position, offensive position

that they wanted to draft, and they wanted to draft a disruptive guy that could be a

pass rusher and help really collapse the pocket and help against these great pastors like Brady

and and Breeze and other folks like that and they thought they got him they thought they got

him with Malik McDowell and everything was looking great they got him in for practices he was

looking great they were super excited and then lo and behold, he has a random ATV accident and their

whole plans change. At that point, 99 out of 100. 999 out of 1,000 GMs just kind of shrug their shoulders and like, all right, next man up,

let's figure out what can do.
