And, you know, I've got some really important news for all of you it's either going to be extremely good news

or extremely bad news because there's no in between when it comes to this news

evan hill who was due to be on the show had to bow out uh had some family stuff come up we're

wishing him well but i know because I've read enough of the comments,

there's going to be some people that are absolutely celebrating that that's the case. And there's

some people that are just crushed that he's not here because no one feels just in the middle

about Evan Hill. But what I know everyone's going to be excited about is we found a pinch hitter,

man. We found a guy that is like a middle of the lineup guy, and he was just waiting.

He was waiting for the call at midnight his time.

Rob Staten joins us from across the pond for his real Hawk Talk debut, man.

How are you doing, Rob?

Yeah, I'm very, very good.

I was on a plane a few hours ago coming back from France and I've had a very

relaxing afternoon back home. But yeah, well, you send me the message. I fancy a bit of Seahawks

talk. Why not? So let's do it. We love that about you. You are as much of a sicko as any of us,

maybe more so. And I wouldn't say that about almost anybody.

That's the biggest compliment I could give. Jeff, you've, you spent plenty of time with both

of us. Who's more sick in the head about the Seahawks, Rob or me? Very different, very different.

You guys have some very similar quirks, a little anxiety that comes up. Me and Rob went through that Mike McDonald's search together. We struggled with that one both together. But I had to stay up to watch a sports game in my time at three in the morning. And it hit me for, I'm like, oh, my God, Rob does this all the time. Like, how does he do this? It crushed me. So I got to give Rob, because I was sick, what he's doing in some of those hours, watching the draft. I got to go with Rob on this one. I think that's fair. Honestly, I don't think, as much as I love the Seahawks, if I had to watch them at three in the morning regularly. I think that would not happen.

I think I'd be a DVR guy and just not let anyone else tell me what's going on.
