this channel with sports in general is stay out of politics, stay out of all the stuff that I think we

try to, you know, escape from with this stuff. But the events that happen today, I think are pretty

upsetting for a lot of folks, no matter what your politics are.

And just as an American, I think it's a pretty sad state of things.

And I just want to say, like, I grew up in a place where, you know, wildly different politics, wildly different religious beliefs.

I know what that is like.

And my best friends through high school, through college, a lot of them have wildly different political beliefs and wildly different religious beliefs.

And I love them to death.

And they love me.

And one of the things that I'm super grateful for is that

I can do something as frivolous and superfluous as a podcast and a blog about football and a team

that I love because this country has been so successful and kind of coming together across so many

different boundaries. And part of things I love about sports is that you can't have any different

belief. But as long as you're a Seahawks fan, we've got something in common. And all I want to say is,

you know, I hope that that folks find comfort in people around them.
