0:38.6	about her thoughts on this. So Penny, why don't we start by a little bit about your background and
0:43.0	where you've come from in kind of your progression here? Sure, absolutely. Thanks for the opportunity.
0:48.5	Over 20 years ago, I was in the corporate world as well, working Monday through Friday 8 to 5,
0:53.3	like so many of us. And I actually
0:56.5	watched an infomercial way back in the day. And it was talking about buying houses with no money
1:02.3	down. So I bought the program. It was $99 at the time. And I went through the program. I got it
1:07.8	my front door, opened it up. And it was a box with two things in it.
1:12.0	It was a little manual, training manual, and a CD set. So I wasn't quite sure I was going to learn
1:17.5	how to buy real estate with just those two pieces, but I went through the program and lo and behold,
1:22.5	I understood the concept, but I still didn't know how to do that. So I actually am self-taught in the real estate
1:28.7	world. I started over 18 years ago with my first flip, purchased that, loved it, made about
1:35.2	$15,000, which back in the day seemed like a lot of money, and it probably was. And so I just went
1:41.0	from one flip to the next flip to the next flip. And so I've been doing that off
1:45.0	and on for a good part of 18 years. I also have background in commercial build, remodel work.
