On a gold medal Sunday, men get it done, bright and early.. I'll admit I didn't get up until, I didn't get up until 545. I got up at 545. That's not bad. Yeah. I got to say, Olympic hockey, really nice. There's no commercials during the period. So you're able to get through it pretty quickly. If you woke up at like 545 and you

started at the start of the game, you were basically caught up later in the third period. So you got to see all of the action. You just had to stay off social media. But enjoyable experience to be able to watch that game early. And I was happy to be up that early and be able to experience that game in real time. Yeah, it was, I'm glad I got up. I mean, listen, I had, you know, best of plans, obviously. I had set the alarm for like 5.15 and then. It's tough. Yeah. It's tough. Dude, I had, I did a numbers game for last two weeks. I was going to at 4 o'clock in the morning for like 14 straight days where I'm like, dude, that 515 hit and I'm like, I'm going to take it. I'm taking 31 minutes. I don't care. Like I'm taking 30 more minutes. I can't do it. No chance. So I did get, I saw the vast majority of the game. But yes, it was, it did not get to see the very beginning of it. I'm glad the third honestly the third period even though it was scoreless i think was the best one

1:29.3

i mean it though it was

1:27.5

scoreless, I think it was the best one. Oh, it was a, it was a phenomenal hockey game. I mean,

1:33.0

the beauty of this is the effort level that you see from these players is equal to an NHL's

1:38.0

Stanley Cup finals level game. And so to be able to see best on best inside the NHL and this type

of version of a game is why people, like when you look at the NBA All Star game, this is what people want. They want the best players playing against the best players at maximum effort. And that's what you're able to get in Olympic hockey. We got it last year in the Four Nations, which was a surprise because it was an exhibition. But then to be able to see it on Olympic ice this year was, it was phenomenal. And to your point, the third period was just, it was action-packed. Even the second period, they were just great periods as this game went along. And as the pressure ratcheted up in a close hockey game, it felt like everything was incredibly important. We saw the save from Hellebuck reaching behind his back.

2:17.7

That was a huge save 14 USA.

2:19.7

You had power play opportunities late in that game.

2:21.8

It just brought all of the drama that you could possibly want when you're waking up that early for a hockey game.

2:28.0

About let's call it 15 minutes from now.

2:29.9

We will be heading to the track.

2:31.5

Samich is going to head to Gulfstream and Santa Anita.

2:36.1

So be sure and be sure and stick around for that.

2:40.6

Hopefully we can get us another, another winner because you got us a winner yesterday.

2:47.2

Yeah, third beer.

2:48.1

We're able to get home in the first at Santa Anita.

2:50.2

We're going to actually talk about third beer because we're going to play a horse that was coming out of the Eddie Logan today. And third beer came out of that race yesterday to be able to get the W. We did see a pretty big upset over at Turfway Park. Unfortunately not our horse with the four. We had Keelotango in that race. He got stopped as he started to make his move,

3:07.9

never really had a shot to be able to get his full momentum going. But Great White gets the job done at an 18 to one price over that synthetic course. Not a horse I care about for the Derby. Again, this is more of a turf-style race because of the racetrack. It's run on. It's run on a synthetic surface, not dirt. We'll talk about it once more a little bit later when you get to the Jeff Ruby steaks spelled like a steak that you eat.
