Good morning and welcome back to Zach Jackson and friends.

I am Zach Jackson.

It is Labor Day weekend.

It is officially football season.

We have made it.

This is our Ohio State, Texas Megapod.

Later on in this episode, I will have two of my friends, Steve Hellwagon from Bucknuts

and Cameron T. Robinson, my coworker from The Athletic, on to talk about the Buckeyes,

not just Saturday's game at high noon, big noon, the controversial noon, but the season

itself gets you ready as we kind of steer away briefly from the Browns.

As I've talked about before, I would love for this podcast to be a discussion about everything going on in the sports world and whatever else I might deem appropriate or interesting.

Because of my job, because of the rabid fan base that's kept this organization going through

just a small number of disappointing decades, we talk mostly Browns here.

And I do appreciate whether you're new or whether you've been coming here for the year,

plus a couple of weeks weeks that this thing launched.

But it's important to me that we branch out.

And, you know, frankly, for Labor Day weekend, the last weekend before NFL season starts,

I'm going to disappear for a few days, get freshened up,

and we'll be back into talking Bengals and browns and the season ahead next week.

But I love talking college football.

I can't wait to watch Saturday, the new guys, the guys you know, the expectations and anticipation for this game,

which in the big picture doesn't mean a whole lot,
