Hello everybody and welcome back to Reading with Joy, our summer book club where we are going

through the wonderful and delightful young adult novel A Rinkle in Time.

This has been so fun because this summer I decided that unlike in past summers, where I mostly

did the book clubs on my own, book clubs should be about talking about books that you love

with other people that love books and just pointing out things that you love about that.

So in honor of that, I've been inviting a friend every

week onto the podcast to discuss a chapter of wrinkle in time with me. And today I have the lovely

Haley Stewart. Welcome, Haley. Thanks so much for having me, Joy. I've been looking forward to this.

I actually listened to you and your mom chat about the first chapter yesterday to get pumped up

about today.

So that was delightful.

Oh, that's so fun.

When did you first read this book?

As a child, I'm not sure how old, but I got really into all of her novels.

Like I read like the whole time series and then a lot of the Austin books.

See, I haven't read those.

Are they worth diving into at some point?

Definitely worth diving into.
