What can we do about it? We are learning about this as we study a story in John chapter 5.

This is a story about a bunch of sick people who laid around a pool waiting for healing.

It is a sad, hopeless story until, until Jesus comes on the scene.

Let's join Pastor John as we continue this story and see how Jesus deals with the sickness.

So here they are. All of these sick people waiting to get into the water. Now, Jesus comes on the scene,

seeing a certain man, verse 5, that was there who had been sick 38 years. For 38 years, this

individual was sick and infirmed. And Jesus saw this one and knew that he had been

there, verse six, a long time and said, wilt thou be made whole? And the impotent man answered,

the sick man answered, sir, I have no man when the water is troubled to put me into the pool, but while I am
