When Jason Staples joins me, Jason, Miles

O'Neill from Texas A&M, red shirt freshman, three years of eligibility left, or redshirt

sophomore, I guess, three years of eligibility left. Big arm out of high school, didn't have a lot of

opportunities at Texas A&M, your initial thought on the pickup. Well, I think what they're

trying to do is they're trying to add, they're trying to add some depth bodies that can

compete for the job that are not really physically limited in kind of the, in the kinds of throws that they can make.

So one of the things that we saw last year is, you know, they brought in Gio Lopez and, you know,

Gio had a certain set of skills that didn't really mesh well with what they wanted to do.

I mean, we talked about this from week one.

It's like, well, what are they trying to do with him?

Like, if you're going to use him that way, that doesn't really fit what he brings to the table.

What they're trying to do with these guys is they're trying to get guys that can, that,

that have the, the arm arm profile the throwing profile to be

able to to hit the downfield type throws that and especially the downfield over the middle

type throws that that bobby petrino is going to want to do so my first thought here is well

this is another guy that fits a lot of what Bobby Petrino likes in young quarterbacks.

And it's not surprising because this is a guy that Bobby Petrino recruited at Texas A&M. Now, he didn't get an opportunity to coach him at Texas A&M because he recruited him as a part of the Jimbo Fisher staff,
