Ooh, time is flying in January and news is flying.

These I see Dailies come fast and furious.

And Greg, we can barely keep up with what's going on.

But I think a big topic for today we'll talk about everybody's talking about what's coming in,

who Belichick, Lombardi and staff are bringing in and i talked with jason staples about the quarterbacks and

all that but there's big news about who's staying melkart decided to stay the big news last night

jordan ship has re-up with north carolina and he'll be back there's a couple others. It's not about who you miss. It's about who you have. And retaining

ship and Melkart and those guys is important. No doubt. And what you want to be able to do is

to bring back the key guys. Jordan Shipp clearly is probably the best player on the offensive side of the ball.

De Man June also in that mix for the potential that he has coming back, running back.

And then Abu Jowda clearly was the kid that popped into the year.

He had a little bit of a slow start, but once he got

going, he was dangerous. He had 27 pressures, the last six games, led the ACC, of course,

and sacks with 12. So we've talked about that. You know, when you have the portal set up,

and there's so much attrition, just by the nature of how it's how it is set up,

you're always going to lose guys and North Carolina has.

And some of those guys are people that maybe the staff wanted to depart.

And others may be guys that the staff wanted to keep around and it just didn't

work out that they would they would stay in chapel hill um but when you've got guys like

melchard and jordan and uh deman june and jane patterson these are guys who uh understand what the
