Welcome into Lounge presented by Draft Kings. I'm Ryan Mink here with Garrett Downing,

following the Ravens 44 to 10 loss to the Houston Texans. The Ravens now fall to 1 in 4 on the season.

It is the tied for their worst start in franchise history. Uh, this also tied to the

Ravens most lopsided loss at home in franchise history dating back to 2013. The Ravens are in a

really tough position right now, Garrett. They are still very banged up and they are not playing

good football. And they've put themselves behind the eight ball now when it comes to just

scratching back into this, scratching their way back and making the playoffs. I mean,

that what seemed, what was at the beginning of season a Super Bowl favorite,

now we're talking about like, can they scratch the way back from a huge deficit early in season to make the playoffs?

Yeah. Honestly, like, I know the playoffs are, everyone thinks about that, but I think the Ravens got,

they have issues in the hearing now that they need to worry about rather than the standings. And I think that, like, I do think that that was definitely a sense that I got in talking to this team after the game that, like, they just, they need to not worry about the playoffs and the postseason and the standings. They just got, they got to go one and oh, and they got got to fix some things and they got to figure out what's going on in the here and now,

rather than worrying about like the really big picture.

And I just think like when I look at this game, this was, I don't think the Ravens or myself expected it to go the way that it did.

This was a team that we all knew they were really banged up. Enactives come out before the game and it looks like a Pro Bowl roster. It was a Pro Bowl. Six pro bowlers on there inactive, seven, if you include Nondi Matabake. Yeah. So it's like it's a who's who's who's list of guys who are dealing with injuries on this team. And that's a real challenge. I don't want to minimize that. The Ravens said over and over again after the game that that's not an excuse and that they were not using that as the excuse for the result of today's game. But that's a real challenge. And I don't think that can be overlooked, but they also just feel like they were

going to have a better showing, even with the injuries. We knew this team was banged up coming to the

game. We, that, Lamar Jackson was ruled out on Friday. Like, that wasn't a surprise. And so

everyone felt like the Ravens were going to have a better showing than they did today in this one,

where the Texans controlled this one

from start to finish and really kind of dominated across the board. Yeah, and we just aren't used

to seeing this at all from the Ravens. I mean, three straight losses and really you got blown out

the past two weeks. We just don't see that. And I agree.
