I'm Ryan Mink here with Garrett Downing.

Following the Ravens 30 to 16 win over the Chicago Bears,

snapping the Ravens four-game skid and snapping the Bears' four-game winning streak

with Tyler Huntley at the helm. This was a win that

the Ravens badly needed as just as much mentally as almost as if in the standings, really. They had to

get this win coming out of their buy and they got the job done with Snoop. Yeah, whether you call it a

must-win game, a can't-lose game, got to haveit game, whatever framework you put around it, this was one that the Ravens desperately needed, coming off of the by, sitting in a spot in a deep hole based on how the start of the season had gone. And I think that you hit it right when you say that it was important, obviously from a standing standpoint. I mean, I think that's pretty self-explanatory. But also from a mental standpoint, this is a team that everyone expected to be one of the best in the league this year. And the start of the season hadn't gone that way. And you were looking for something to go right. It just felt like, okay, how do we get to this spot? And so you're looking for something

to go right. And you're coming off the by week. You get a lot of guys healthy, not the most

important one in the quarterback Lamar Jackson, but you get a lot of players healthy. And I think

there was, you and I both said coming into this game when we talked over the course of the week,

they just felt to be like this optimism and confidence from the players coming off the biweek,

getting the team overall healthier.

And I think that we saw that play out on the field.

Yeah, Rokwon Smith said after the game that there was a different energy about them this week coming out of the buy

and that it felt

like a fresh start. And this really carried over that fresh start to their season. Pat Ricard

and Tau Lindbaum both echoed that statement and said the Ravens are want to know now at this

point of the season. It is a new season for them. And when you have a lot of your pieces back together that's how it feels

with obviously the promise of getting lamar jackson also back on the field soon so i i think that this

was just you know there were negative stories out there in the media this week there was all the

stuff with lamar jackson's injury designation was just, it was a rough week coming

...
