I'm Ryan Mink here with Garrett Downing.

And we are going to get you ready for the Ravens Thursday night football against the Miami Dolphins.

This is the Ravens team that's 2 and 5.

Just came out of the buy with a big win against the Chicago Bears now going up against the

two and six Miami Dolphins team that's also coming off a win. So two teams that have not had

the best starts this season, but are hoping at least that they've turned things and are going

in the right direction. Well, the biggest story, of course, for the Ravens is quarterback Lamar Jackson.

He is expected to play in this game, has been practicing throughout the week, and all signs

are pointing to him getting back on the field after missing the last three games, three and a

half games, went down against the Chiefs midway through that game.

Lamar talked with reporters this week for the first time since suffering that injury back

on September 28th, said that he's good to go and excited to be back on the field.

And so that is a massive thing for this team.

I don't think we can talk enough about what that means for this team,

especially I really felt like coming off of the by week there was this renewed energy

and enthusiasm around the team and part of it was that a number of guys were coming back healthy

you had players like pat ricard and ronnie stanley and roquan smith who were all coming back and you

also had players who were just getting healthier like marlin humphreyrey and Kyle Hamilton. And so you have all that going on. But the big, the big conversation was about Lamar Jackson and when is he going to be able to get back on the field? Obviously, it wasn't Sunday against the Bears, but Tyler Huntley starts, plays well. They get the win. And now you add Lamar back into this team that feels like, all right, we're starting to get rolling here. You just stop the bleeding. You got to win. And now you insert your two-time MVP quarterback back into the mix. And who knows where it goes from here. But Lamar Jackson was pretty adamant on about the fact that, yeah, feels like the ravens can go on a roll and

i think everybody's looking down the schedule and and it looks favorable but lamar was adamant that

it's about Miami he don't want to talk about getting on a role and all the things that we've

been talking about for so long when you try to that's what we do in this business we project right
